Hover: Revolt of Gamers takes place in high-tech Hover City, which is located on a distant planet. But is this game worth your time and money? Without a doubt, yes it is. Having grown up playing Jet Set Radio on the Dreamcast as well as its original Xbox successor, Jet Set Radio Future, I finally have a video game that I can indulge myself with and satisfy my nostalgic cravings. Development for the game commenced in October 2013, and after a successful Kickstarter campaign, the game saw an Early Access release on Steam. Hover will be heading to Steam first at the end of May, then has its sights set on a Q4 2017 release date for PS4 and Xbox One.Developed by French developer, Fusty Game, Hover: Revolt of Gamersis a parkour indie title that drew inspiration from EA’s Mirrors Edge and Sega’s Jet Set Radio series. Should you desire a refresher on how the game looks and plays, feel free to check out one of its gameplay videos below.

We all miss the Jet Set Radio games, but thankfully we won’t have to wait much longer until we get a bit of a spiritual successor to the franchise in Hover: Revolt of Gamers, which leaves Early Access and sees the finished game released for Steam on May 31.
